Its funny the stuff I've started to miss from home. I had a kick of an AFL yesterday, reminded me that it is footy season back home and that if I was still at the ANU I would be playing this weekend. Also I miss Vegemite, I barely eat the stuff back home but **** I want some here! Anyway I've got training again tonight, then its college night, $1 beers everywhere, gotta love Mmmmmerica!

Several years ago, I purchased "costume" jewelry at the local department stores for trips such as this. I understand that in Paris, less is more, so I will carry very little jewelry on this trip. I also understand that makeup is to be understated as well. So, a good moisturizer, some mascara and lip gloss ought to be enough!

... br> I learned this from our trip to Italy last year.....use our State Employees' Visa Card for all purchases for the best foreign transaction fee. It's 1% of the purchase instead of the 3% charged by my regular bank cards.
The best news is....the trip is totally paid for! We determined how much we'd need, put money in a special savings account, and now, all we have to do is go enjoy what we've planned!

Met up with Becton at his place and quickly headed down to Fin****n's for some good gospel funk jams at Rock the Block on Trade St. and 6th. Marli is going to St. Andrews and is going to give me a baby elephant. The mermaid brought scones downtown and we immediately began advertising her witchcraft of baked goods to everyone in our proximity. Met up with good Foothills folks..the likes ...
