    ... for fishing, and several men were doing that today. I spoke to two chaps, one was reeling in a fish, a Mirror Carp, which estimated to be 12 lbs., see photos. Once caught it is released back into the lake to be tempted by someones bait again and again. Carp is the main fish here. (Doesn't seem to be destructive like the European Carp in Australia) According to the notice board catches have been as great as 500 lbs! Fishing competitions are ...

    ... not the SCG you are thinking of though). SCG out here for the Stanway Cricket Ground. It's been featured on the TV heaps of times (admittedly not on Wide World of Sports) and usually some one is murdered in some gruesome fashion but Miss Marple always solves the crime and evil doer is 'sent down'.
