... every other sentence! Me, him and Alga took a trip before class one day to a big open air swimming pool, complete with snorkel hire and freshwater fish to look at. It was super cool... Have a swim, teach an idiom or two...

... museum is next door so spent an hour in there learning about the history of Jakarta and the impact of the Dutch.

At 6pm the group got together to fill forms out and introduce ourselves and we headed out again to see the monument and then a bus to the old town where we had dinner at Cafe Batavia which was a fine dining experience, we had a wooden window overlooking the old quarter and teak floors.

Tomorrow I travel to another area again but I will sleep 1 night in a real good hotel in Jogia.

The hotel in K, opposite the hospital, was a surprise, many mosquitos, a nice bed with a real blanket and no sheet (around 37 degrees). Hot water came out of the shower head but too hot to use, no way of regulating it, I was happy with a cool shower in any case. I bought our breakfast from ...

... busy traffic for the hour and a half's journey to Borobudur. He left me to visit on my own which was great because I like mooching. I walked through parkland (the jungle is now cleared around the site) and the square temple with steps up each side rose up in front of me. ... the buildings and the carvings and size is an amazing feat of engineering and craftsmanship. The photos dont do either construction justice. Again we spent a few hours wandering around but the heat and humidity takes its toll and retreated to the aircon minibus, and the crowds were now really building up so glad we did it early.
Collected our newly made clothes and yes they all fit and what a bargain. We are now packing then off for breakfast before our flight to Kuala ...
