    ... one had concentric circles on the ceiling another Buddhas and a Buddhist scene with lotus flowers. Many if the caves had names and dates of their occupants, mostly date were in the 70's.
    The cove here is very pretty with a crescent shaped beach, lovely clear water, it would have been lovely living rent free in such beautiful surroundings.

    ... resort of Tsoutsouros The harbour has three fishing boats, one speed boat and one nice cruiser moored in it. We took a walk along the promenade passing several tavernas where locals were enjoying a drink in the last of the sunshine.
    There are plenty of cats in the harbour that are keeping Logan on his toes, they really do drive him mad!

    ... a few smaller speed boats and yachts and some children just back from sailing were washing off a their of toppers, We walk back around to the harbour and decided it would be a nice place to stay for the night. Tomorrow the town will be open and we can explore further.     After playing games with Logan in the large car park we headed towards a remote hilly area north of Agios Nikolaos. When we parked for lunch a car pulled alongside us to see if we were lost, the driver was Canadian, he told us he had come to Crete to escape the snow and was surprised to see so much here.     ... they looked like rows of Tibetan stupas in lines at the side of the roads, at one place we waited whilst a tractor pulled a pickup out. Some villages had a variety of snow ploughs, diggers and tracked vehicles clearing smaller roads.
