The first few days back in Elounda were an opportunity to relax, and on Thursday we spent the day by the beach, Friday by the pool. Friday evening we jumped on the bus to Agios Nikolaos to meet Laura and her girlfriend for drinks, dinner and then some more drinks and was our only late night 'party night' of the whole three weeks. Afraid of the boredom setting in we arranged to hire a car for Sunday and Monday and booked a nights accommodation on Sunday on the ...

Luckily his tetanus is all up to date. The beach was located close to the islands airport. The planes were coming in to land what seemed like every couple of minutes. It was a lovely spot to cool off and watch the sea and ...

... won her over, for the time being. Our 10k walking today took in Elounda where we shopped of car hire, being won over not necessarily by the best deal but by the Greek man who had notched up the charm a few points. We are pleased to report an absence of empty supermarkets and dying cancer sufferers without medication rotting in the streets as reported in the British press of late, and we didn't observe any British people leaving the airport who were being wrestled to ...
