    ... wasn't as good as the market we went to yesterday, a lot of it was made up of fruit, dried fish and spices. They were all covered in flies and smelled awful! (Especially the fish!) The shop keepers have different tactics there, they come up to you and start a regular conversation with you, like; "which country are you from?" From there they talk to you about normal sorts of things, one woman slipped in that she has a 'very bad' husband, and three hungry ...

    ... place. How different things are now, i feel so relaxed and safe! A lot of it was in my head and now I feel like I'm sinking into the life here. I asked Janet the lady who owned the guesthouse in anjuna why they took our passport and visa details. She explained its so the embassy can keep track of us in case we go missing anywhere.     ... and the place is far too inexpensive for what you get.

    There are a few dozen delicious dining options up and down the beach, but tonight we went to a place 15 minutes walk away with the unlikely name of Jardin de Ullyses, and Al and I agreed we had one of the best curries ever!
