    ... to be freshly renovated and appears to be a lot nicer than where we booked. We were greeted by his daughter and off to our room for a nice hot shower! We went for a wander into the centre, mostly locals about as most of the tourist shops are closed. We walked to the top of a giant staircase over looking the ocean and santorini which was amazing!     ... fast. She's going hard, passing the others, Whoa!!! I'm laughing because they just have a mind of their own, the lady just in front of us looks like she's cantering, I can't help but laugh.     ... for some help but got answers like 'you can't walk there, take the bus', 'oh no you crazy, too far too walk' etc but it made us really appreciate Santorini more. When we reached Oia it was gorgeous. The blue roofs, just like in all the postcard pictures were much more common and we perched ourselves on the walls of the old castle and waited.     Santorini Santorini. I like it. It is calm and peaceful. Obvs touristy ... but I dunno. Different. Underdeveloped - too me. And I have seen Asia. I think the island is lovely though. The water is amazing .. breathtaking really. Can't wait to swim.

    And the thing I love most ... there is this aura almost (is that how it is spelt) around the island and horizon. Like ... as if the world really ...

    ... t agree with this. Luckily Jade had a nice pair of flat shoes that I wore right up until the walk down the 1000 stairs to the Dana Villas. With my arm securely locked into my dads, he walked me down to the sound of our 3 traditional musicians playing some beautiful Greek music for us.
