... here I am, sandals, bikini, tshirt, and camera, in no position to be running anywhere, start to speed walk all up hill, wheezing and coughing the whole way, must have been such a beautiful picture. As the cloud follows me up the hills, taunting me, I just know it's gonna start chucking it down any minute. A few rain drops fall, a burst of thunder, and the pace the water falling quickens. Santorini was our island today. Some believe it is the "lost island" of Atlantis. Approaching the island offers a breathtaking sight worthy of the legend. I had initially booked something up in the village but at 4x the price as Pegalos, we decided to go cheap and will use the savings for nice dinners (with views) and some excursions like a semi-private boat ride that we want to do on Monday. ...

... and endorphins that I had to sit down. The cloud was still pouring over the cliff face so thick and fast that it look as if it would envelop me. I sat an mouthed come on but it alway dissipated just in front of my eyes. Bussed north to Oia (Ia). Again so, so beautiful. Walked through little streets to the point and a shear drop to a berth. Walked down the stairs, frequented by donkeys, and had a quick swim ...
