This part of the Paris trip was much more relaxed but did include trips to the Mongolian Embassy to get our visa fixed (London embassy managed to issue in July 2012 for entry before January 2012, brilliant). The Mongolian embassy just scribbled out the date so here’s hoping it is going to get us in!!! Then off to the Thai Embassy to try to get a double entry visa so we can spend six months ...

Paris - The city of many steps
... in front of me, also had the message. The flight attendants walked up and down and didn’t address anyone sitting these seats about the issue. I had to visit them in the back to ask them to reset the system and she said would do that. “If it doesn’t work and you can find a spare seat, you can always move”, she had said to me. Really?? Isn’t that rule 101 for airline travel –You must sit in your designated seat?

Tour de Paris
... bizarre to see souvenir coin making machines along the corridors within this basilica. Afterwards we wandered through the streets surrounding the area, found some souvenirs, and then walked back down the hill.
As we were waiting for the next bus to arrive the skies opened up, and so we took refuge in a nearby Parisian café. It was nice to have a sidewalk table (although covered) and just watch the world go by – even more funny to see ...
