... and consecrated on 31st December 1452. Probably Flemish in design, it remained as a hospital until the late 1970's. Inside the building is a beautiful courtyard and a museum of the history of the hospice. We visited the Fallot family mustard business which, having been established in 1928, is now being managed by the third generation. They even still have their 1932 Peugeot delivery van. We saw how the mustard was made, tasted raw mustard ...

We were in a car park & looked out the side & could see the parking spaces but it just wasn't easy to see how to actually get there. Fortunately when we did eventually, inexplicably and circuitously get there we were right next to where our hotel is so that bit was easy! ...

Another restful start after a late night. Hunted up ingredients in the street and we ate at home. Had a long chat with Elen on Viber and caught up on the placement and stuff. Two happy parents who loved talking with our girl. Bills and banking by Internet. Chatted with Julien and realised there was a local farmers' market by the bridge. We went ...
