Some things don't change! The marina space at Petacciato is on of them. We had swum at this beach many years ago when we were house hunting at Carunchio, in the mountains close to the coast of southern Abruzzo. Clean sand, clear water and plenty of space before the Italian Summer ...

The shore is dotted with little fishing villages and roadside stands where the fisherman sell their daily catch. We stopped in the town of San Salvo Marina, got a beach front hotel room, slept on the beach for a while and then enjoyed another great fish dinner. Thanks for coming ...

... somewhere, my mom took me shopping, and that was really fun!
And then, I had amazing home-made food for dinner: carbonara, scampi, and tiramisł.
Finally, I watched "La mafia uccide solo d'estate" - The mafia only kills during the summer: a truly touching and light movie that depicts the heaviest and most dangerous ...
