Smells like Cologne

When we arrived in Cologne 4 hours later there was a ton of snow, and it just kept snowing very hard until about 9:00pm that night. A ton of people were using umbrellas for the snow, which Lisa and I thought was strange; as soon as we got out in the snow and realised how wet it was and how hard the wind was blowing we understood why. Inside the cathedral is amazing..the height of it's ceiling is amazing.. the organ pipes up so high would create such a presence. The stain glass windows are brilliant.. so many different designs telling their own part of history.

Dusseldorf to Hamburg.
Left Frankfurt with a thick icy fog coming down and minus six degrees. Caught the train to Dusseldorf - only ninety minutes up the track. The train system in Europe is superb. The trains leave on time, and are so comfortable to sit back and relax in. The added bonus is that you get to see some of the countryside as you go.
