        ... waiter last night was homesick and missed his new baby, he is from the Philippines, very young guy - maybe 30 - so we inquire - turns out he has 4 kids, 2 ex-wives, and this new wife with the two newest kids.         Beautiful morning as we left Andernach and cruised towards Cologne. The river traffic is noticeably heavier and bigger, with many more River Ships (barges), but the scenery along the river is beautiful.

        ... the city hall dating back to 1200 although it has been extended twice with different architectural style. It has been rebuilt after being extensively damaged by allied bombing in WWII.
