We headed back to Dream Catcher, we were trying to be clever and maintain the height we were at to avoid climbing to the top of the hill again, unfortunately we got a bit lost in the maze of streets and had to climb quite a way back up to find our way!

The drive up was very picturesque, the road surrounded with ancient olive groves, the trunks of the trees are twisted and knarled, there are also rows of bee hives painted in bright colours. We parked a bit further along the track and walked for an hour or so until we got to a very muddy bit and then returned. We settled in for the evening. ... Every time we passed a church they would cross themselves and just keep talking.

When we got to Kavala I was waiting for one of them to get off the bus and she was muttering, 'It's too heavy ...'. I said to her, 'You go first.' She said in English, 'Are you German?' I said, No' and she said, 'American?' I said, 'No, Australian.' And she said very excitedly, 'Me too. From Adelaide!'
