... the artefacts from Mexico - which I Would love to remember it all but my memory is like a sieve! ... heading homewards on the Staten Island Ferry. This ferry ride is always worth it, I think, as you get a good view of downtown Manhattan from the water and one also passes Ellis Island as well a the a Statue of Liberty, which is fun.

On our way back, the top of our list was to find a beer, and wandering round the financial district and near Ground Zero thee is not a lot to be had. We ended up in a small Irish bar in the end, before catching the subway back ...

... also saw Columbia University, Cathedral of Saint John the Divine - church in Harlem, and the Apollo Theatre. On the bright side, the tour guide on the second bus was very good, so our experience with the Green bus ended on a high note.

The quality of the work, as you would expect for someone who could afford a tomb, is quite high -- as a close examination of the neck piece will show.

The people these were made for were probably pouring resources the equivalent of a fleet of private jets (and not the piddling little Learjet-y 'Executive' models, either) into a tomb and its contents, ...

... br> Overall we had 2 cocktails each and did a full 360 rotational view of Manhatten. The napkins had the pictures and names of the buildings so that made it easy to identify key buildings. Thanks Sara for the drink money!!!
