In spite of the incredibly noisy air conditioner we had a good sleep in, and just made it to brekky before it closed. There was a nice array for a breakfast included in the price - sometimes they can be a bit sparse. It had something that tasted like crushed anzac biscuits with milk, and it was yummy, but very sweet. Then I had a lovely croissant with cream cheese spread and grape jelly. Very sustaining!

... with no attempts to replace, just a few planters. Times Square may be better at night but by day it's just for tourists. Again it's partly pedestrianised but not that well. Not very nice. Several people had told us that the Top of the Rock was better than the Empire State Building and Carole had recommended having a drink there. It is also very very very tall.
you could climb all the way to the crown.
but I only climbed to the top of the pedestal.
It is made of copper.
The copper is only two pennys thick.

... where Pippin was playing. We got some really good seats, front row of the upper tier so we had a great view. The show was really good, not much of a story line but the acrobatics were amazing and some stunts were nail biting.
