... I feel about the concept of zoos. Partly they make me feel uncomfortable but the animals here seemed to have a lot of space and be well looked after. And I can never really quell the excitement of being close to amazing animals like tigers. As it was, due to it being a rainy December day I could have probably counted the number of visitors on my fingers and toes. This meant I got total alone time with the tigers and lions who put on a real show for me.

Anyway, I was on my way with the direction repeating in my head, enjoying the walk and taking the occational photo until I reached my destination. ... Deanne and I met a woman named Kate in Costa Rica a few years ago and she lives in this hood. We called her, but she was up at Lake George. It seems lots of locals are on vacation out of town this labor day weekend. Too bad because she was a lot of fun.
