We asked for an American breakfast (snobs?) and she sent us to a hotel about a block away. Before dinner we had a farewell Captains Cocktail Party on board followed by a Farewell Captain's Dinner (a 5 star 5 course dinner to die for). Afterwards there was a dance party in the lounge and membes of the crew joined in - great fun, & a few sore heads in the morning (not mentioning any names ...
... and a very international one. We have some nine nationalities working the hospitality side of the house.
We will soon lead off for the Netherlands and a stop in Kinderdijk, Netherlands before we reach our destination of Amsterdam on Saturday. It is going to be hard to see the end of this incredible experience.
