    ... for an hour just as the crowds started to get dense. It was an excellent stop
    -onward to Leipsig with an interesting detour right at the end due to an accident on the motorway. Go GPS!! We continued our tradition of driving in a pedestrian only zone as we hunted for our hotel. :-). Glad we have a teeny car.

It is a pedestrian only town center, so there are no cars and a lot of people walking around and the architecture is gorgeous, as most of it looks as though it is from the Renaissance Era. Once you pass the entire town center and get to the other side, the city is filled with parks, gardens, and residential neighborhoods with beautiful houses.
