    ... I am off to Leipzig via Dresden. I'm not sure what I will find but its got the sort of name that makes me want to visit. Tony left his driving licence behind in the castle reception and the assistant there rushed after us, when she realised, out into the town and round nearby streets only to find us on her return walking out of the exit after the customary toilet stop....... Douglas filled his tin legs with fruit from trees whilst the guard wasn't looking and then distributed the extra rations to his fellow prisoners when he returned! We walked home with Joan and David through the woods and all went to the camp restaurant for supper.     ... France was the aggressor and everyone combined to beat them (Napoleon) at Leipzig. It’s huge – probably in keeping with the battle. Impressive.

    Did the tourist info centre 5 Euro walking tour. Not as good as the free ones but didn’t seem to be any of those here. Was taken by an old codger who was as dry as. Would have been better to have saved my 5 Euro and follow the map around as ...
