    Day 5: Germany

A travel blog entry by creeky on Jul 10, 2015

Day 3 of our tour saw us travel from Amsterdam to Germany. After a few hours on the coach we arrived in Boppard, where we were able to walk on the banks of the Rhine during a bit of free time. The weather today has been awesome so we grabbed an ice cream and admired the scenery. After our free time finished we got onto the Rhine cruise to St. Goar. The cruise had the option to buy some food or drink so I decided to try a ...

... and Winfried cut it to size: never an easy task!

The backyard also got a makeover because we got rid of the tree stump, which we cut down a few months ago and Winfried ordered a truckload of gravel to cover the back half of the yard. Steffie and I had fun shovelling and carting that from the street to the backyard I can tell you!

On Saturday, Oliver had his 35th birthday, but we got around to eating the M&M cake on Sunday ...

Our last full day in Lambsheim and Mannheim started off with a little shopping trip and a stop at the Observation Tower in Mannheim. After a 360 degree view of the Mannheim Area including the Rheine and Neckar rivers we were off to Janna's Family ...
