... old harbour, so we parked the car and walked back to what looks like a 10m tall replica of the Big Ben. At first sight it looks like a normal clock in the middle of nowhere, but on closer inspection one sees that the numbers only go from 0-9. It is actually a water gauge, which measures the fluctuations from the water level on the Rhine River. Most of the other ones we have seen along the Rhine are digital versions.
... dinner in Seeheim-Judenheim, a tiny village only known for having a new Lufthansa training centre built there. The drive was interesting because on both legs it was really foggy and hard to see. That is especially true on the Autobahn because there aren't any overhead lights.
