    ... like a ski lift) up the hill to the Germania monument, built in 1871 for the reunification of Germany then walked the 5kms down the hill. Had a drink, then went shopping & back to the boat for lunch.

    The next part of he Rhine is known for its castles, they were amazing, the cloud then started to move in so went inside for coffee & cake, like we needed more food.

    Got a haircut, really impressed & only €18.

    ... We talked about a few options, but I suggested that we go for a hike into the Neckartal to Neckargemünd. I wasn't exactly sure how long it would take us to hike the approximate 15km around the Königstuhl, but we braved the weather anyway. The wind was really whipping through the trees as we climbed up the Gaisberg and we had to make a brief stop to avoid some hail. Continuing along, we stopped at the Blockhaus to have a look at some lovely Rhododendrons.

    ... thing to do because I get easily distracted. Focus on doing only one thing in your life until you finish it. If it is renovating, then don't start going to the gym. At the moment, I am working and so I can't travel, but then I like to play piano when I come home as well. Focusing on just one thing will help you realise your goals quicker.     ... I got Mr Pedantic and he couldn't find my entry stamp to the European union –Heathrow - and gets grumpy in the search) then down another tunnel which divided at various points......this is all at pace BUT I made it with 5 minutes to spare in time to see the flight is delayed by an hour! Note to self though – if transiting through Frankfurt in future allow PLENTY of time.

    At this point in time I am worried for Sue as I had nearly an hour ...
