Don't take a winter jacket if you are travelling someplace warm, but don't assume it will always be warm! I am quite happy wearing the same clothes over multiple days or washing them on the road, but others don't. There are plenty of checklists available where you can compare what you need. But I remember reading a good quote which goes, 'Take ...

... stopped there as I was sure I could decipher the menu, how hard was it to be. Well the Panini’s were easy to order as tomatoes and mozzarella look the same in German but when ordering my wine I didn't do so well. The menu had Riesling and Riesling and then "Weinschorle".
