Well after a long weekend in Belgium/Luxembourg I have finally made it back to Dusseldorf. I had a great time there and it was a much needed break from the kids but I have to admit that I got a bit homesick. We went to an international fair the day after Thanksgiving but it was so crowded there that I couldn't wait to get the hell out. ... altstadt on the weekends if that tells you anything. AND Dusseldorf has "the longest bar in the world" which basically just means it's got hundreds of bars. Yeah, hundreds. If you miss the last bus home, taxi's are cheap so the night life is good.
