... during the holidays, it's basically warm red wine with spices, I have yet to try it though. I found out that Germany DOES have egg nog and that was a great discovery. They also have Jaeger Tea...weird? so I have a few more things I must try before the season ends. There is seriously so much food being served that it's impossible to try all of it. They have a lot of spiced nuts and these things they make from mashed potatoes where they basically take some meat and pack mashed potatoes around ...
Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany toriluskWell after a long weekend in Belgium/Luxembourg I have finally made it back to Dusseldorf. I had a great time there and it was a much needed break from the kids but I have to admit that I got a bit homesick. We went to an international fair the day after Thanksgiving but it was so crowded there that I couldn't wait to get the hell out. At one point the crew decided that I should lead the way through the fair but it turned out that ...

Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany cariverga... altstadt on the weekends if that tells you anything. AND Dusseldorf has "the longest bar in the world" which basically just means it's got hundreds of bars. Yeah, hundreds. If you miss the last bus home, taxi's are cheap so the night life is good.
9.) How are you able to talk to the family? I speak to them in English, the family I live with speaks a ton of languages, English is one of them. My German is also improving daily.
10.) What's it ...
For those bored enough to be reading any of these blogs, I would like to say...thanks. Second, I hope to keep your interest long enough to finish one entry. I have a small ghetto computer that I will be using (with one hand), saving everything on a USB stick and then trying to get to an internet cafe to publish entries. Therefore, there will be ...

Tanya has also been giving me a lot of free time to go out and see things which is really cool of her. Yesterday I went with a friend from class to a palace in Benrath. It was pretty spiffy but they wouldn't let us see most of the rooms which kind of bummed me out. Pictures were forbidden, but somehow a couple made it onto Anika's camera. The nice thing about being a foreigner is we can just ...
From the beginning, it was agreat experience: I left my mobile
(business and private cell phone) at home not to be disturbed during my
trip.
In the train travelling to the airport, I met an older couplr, which told me a lot about Egypt - a good start to be informed...
... while i got settled in. Though, we met this douche bag of a brit name Mick. He really didn't make a good stereotype for the brits because he was the only one I have met so far on this trip. In Frankfurt, I just tried to see what i could and get settled down, at the same time. I didn't want to move right away in Frankfurt...so, I spent a day just getting accustom to things because I arrived at 5:40pm to Berlin and just relaxed the first day and ...
Bochum, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany kciarnie... restaurant, you could see half a farm pass by, rummage through the dustbins or just sit in the middle of the praca. Or the quiet and peaceful sunsets on the cape, from where we watched the last surfers gliding across the golden waters. Or the simplicity of washing clothes in our pousada at midday, and then spending the rest of the hot part of the day in a hammock. Our trip back to Rio went all well. The airport of Fortaleza was a real bliss (the good shopping ...
