... that were not too challenging if you were in the right gear to start with! The Museum was nothing short of amazing; 3,000 exhibits, 300 vintage cars, 40 racing cars, 200 motorcycles, 27 locomotives, 50 aircraft, 150 tractors, numerous tanks, artillery pieces, lots of military equipment and loads of other "stuff". It was a little overwhelming really and you just had to pick out your main interests and walk ...

76km, 18-35deg, fine, clear blue skies and sunny. We had a bread roll with cold meat and cheese, coffee, fruit and yoghurt in our room for brekkie to start the day. The Mercure provided us with a coffee machine and pods which were renewed every day. Got under steam at 8:30am and were on an immaculate bike path immediately, which is completely normal in Germany. Rode through the park where we were yesterday past the Zoo and onto ...

Impressive and nearly overwhelming in the relatively confined space of the church. We also ended up in the house of G.W.F. Hegel (no not the swimmer) the famous German Philosopher, of course you knew that!! He was and still it ...

24km. 14-24deg, fine and sunny with some cloud. Brekkie was far too expensive at this hotel (over A$26 each) so we took it at Maccas this morning. Their bacon, eggs and coffee are ok when there's not a great deal else open. The Boys then hopped on their bikes and headed out to explore some "toys" at the Mercedes Benz and then the Porsche Museums. Stuttgart is blessed by being the home of two of the ...

We left Berlin at 9:34 on the dot travelling to Stuttgart for an overnight stay we are going to lake Kontanz but did not want a huge day of travelling. The ICE 567 is excellent very smooth. And excellent Internet. The country side for the past two hours has been wooded areas, forests, rolling hills, farms, the occasional large town or city and lots of wind farm. We went through a very long train tunnel and just before we entered ashley rang ...
