Eating & Sleeping:
If you love cheese, you have to try Truffade. This regional specialty is pure cheesey gooey goodness. I was advised to have it at Pile Poele, and it did not disappoint.
We also had the luxury of a traditional home-cooked Korean dinner - shrimp & green onion pancakes, pork bbq and side dishes. Thanks to Bob and his family for inviting us!

The Old french Capital during world war II
We spent the day in Vichy with Marie Christine, Philippe and the twins.
They took us to the source of the famous Vichy water.
Vichy was the French capital during the WW.
Philippe saw a really tall guy with an NBA back pack on and went across the street to speak with him ~ he plays for the Vichy team and is from Houston! Justin Reynolds.
It was a fun day!

La grande cascade
... La montée vers la grande cascade était très sympathique et bien balisée, puisque nous ne nous sommes pas perdus. On longeait des filets d’eau qui rendait le terrain un peu glissant quelquefois, mais la vue s’embellissait de plus en plus ! C’était très agréable de sentir la fraicheur et l’humidité de l’eau à proximité !
En chemin, on réfléchissait à la chanson « la fiancée de l’eau » car nous ne nous étions jamais ...
Randonnée à Sancy d'où l'on ne revient jamais!!!
... tait très bon et pas si fort en alcool que je ne l’aurais cru (11°)! J’ai bien aimé le mélange vin cuit avec le gout de la figue (que l’on ne sent pas) mais surtout de la noix (sauf qu’il parait qu’il n’y en a pas)! Mes papilles ont pris un sacré coup de vieux puisque j’invente des saveurs inconnues!
