Later Saturday afternoon, we paid a visit to David Friedman, a renowned Kabbalistic artist. He uses themes from Jewish mysticism in his art to both challenge and inspire wonder. Dinner was delicious - the seafood very fresh and tasty. The service, however, was appalling. The restaurant was a third full. They served us quickly enough but it took ages to get any further attention and when they finally came, they were not apologetic about keeping us waiting. There was a couple on a table behind me who left an hour before us and their table had not been cleared when we got up to leave.

... for dinner, while Frank and I broke out the tequila and made some margaritas. Forgot to mention that they brought 10 limes with them, as we cannot find any here, go figure.

It has been a fine day, with great friends. As I am finishing this, the three are giggling and deciding on another bottle. Tomorrow we are off to plant some trees, go to Safed, Har Bental, and around the Kinneret. The adventure continues. Shalom!
