We then departed the hotel to attend services at an Orthodox Carlebach synagogue, where the service was full of spirit and music in a very festive atmosphere. ... was our last stop for the day. We were to spend the night here. Ronnen had booked a seafood restaurant for us for dinner. The restaurant, Doniana, overlooked the pretty little fishing harbour. It took us awhile to locate the entrance to the restaurant even though we could see it from a distance. We then headed up north to Rosh Hanikra, which is located right at the border with Lebanon. There is the grottos, that are reached by cable car down to the caves. Got a nice pic of F&S at the border. ... walk down this mountain, we planned to go to Nebi Shu'eib to see the shrine of the prophet Jethro, father-in-law of Moses. The Druze consider this a very holy place and you are not allowed in if your knees or shoulders are bare. Three men had on shorts. The guys tried to improvise by tying things around their legs, but it was not acceptable. It was funny, though!
