The room is very big and actually has two desks. We had two queen beds and they were comfortable. the bathroom had marble counters and a really nice shower with a rain shower head and several vertical jets as well.

This hotel is very close to the airport but not to anything else. They have a restaurant on site but there are no other places to eat in the area - not even a Tim Hortons!

In the room I could hear footsteps and showers from other rooms. This want a problem for us since we are all sound sleepers but it might bother other people.

Up at 7:15 am to get ourselves ready for the day (and we couldn't sleep anymore). Grabbed breakfast as usual in the hotel and then headed back upstairs to get ready, packed, and pointed to the airport. We got down to the front desk at about 10:30 and got a car ordered, which cost $1 more than the Super Shuttle and we were in a Town Car all by …

Shipment of all our gear and some new purchases sent back to the UK :) So now it's onto the US to start our final 6 weeks of our tour. First stop Utah for our multi-sport Moab 6 day adventure. Stay tuned. The travelling McAteers....

... Ron can't get the garage door to work. (He unplugs it and puts a bolt in the track whenever we are away) When he went to turn it on, there were loose wires hanging from the motor..so he opened the door by hand and held the it open and I took my car to his car, which was parked almost in the middle of the street and we got it started....Oh yeah, we had to take the car cover off and untie and remove the canoe to be able to open the hood to jump start ...

... and brew a fresh batch of Garner-brand hijinks. This is to be something of a personal odyssey for the family. We're heading to Lac Seul First Nation in Ontario for some Reservation fun and homecoming. And we'll have company. Mary is the vanguard for this trek and she'll be ahead of us in her own car to set the homefires burning. Mel and I and the kids will be caravanning with my parents. They'll be driving their motorhome and camping while we motel it (at least until we ...

... fit that into my schedule. Although I thought within the first month everything would be back in place. I would know exactly what is in store, there is something satisfying about knowing that I am now a person willing to wait for the best things in life. I am happy taking my time. I am enjoying this moment, because the most important things right now are what is in front of me. No matter what this has been my most amazing year and my life will continue to get better and better every single ...
