... job of describing the processes involved in growing the fruit and the production of the wine - both reds and whites. After the tour we were given a complementary wine tasting of a few of the many wines they offer. By then, it was time for our lunch reservations. We were seated right next to the edge of the outdoor area looking out over the country side and the beautiful lake below. Unfortunately, there has been a forest fire burning directly across ...

The cat shop shuffle is an annual party for the staff and permanent residents around the mountain. 300 tickets go on sale and are spread through the business's of Big White. Leanne purchased a ticket for all us spa staff, $60 for food and drink and a shuttle out to the Cat shed. At night ...

... is a fun mountain with a really cool village, id say better than Big White. It is set out a lot better and has a real European village feel to it. There are pockets of accom out on their own runs where some of them make it easier to ski down to the car park and village rather than walk/drive. The facilities are also quite good with a market, bakery and several pubs.

While the village was set out better than Big White cant be said for the mountain, it ...
