... to make this my first culinary experience in Prague.

I had veal pate for entree which was wrapped in bacon I think (or maybe prosciutto?). Whatever, tasted great; really creamy and flavoursome. The waiter had recommended the duck for main, and I didn't take much convincing. They have about half a dozen variations but I chose the one with foi gras. The duck was quite rare, a little chewy but very tasty. I haven't had foi gras since the last time I was in France a couple ...

... heading to the Museum of Torture instruments. Unlike the two wussies above me, I WILL give examples. They would saw you down the middle if they felt like it or they'd slowly put a screw into your skull if they thought you were a witch. Fun stuff.

Wow, the people, I've never seen so many before. Of course I chose a Saturday evening to see some of the most popular tourist traps in all of Prague. I really had to be on my toes, weaving and bobbing as I try to get from point A to B to C. And today being the best weather of the week didn't help the foot traffic either. Anyways, it was worth it. I wanted to get a glimpse of the city from afar and above so I walked to and up Petrin Hill to the observatory tower to ...

Walking tour and a sangria 'party'

... down 'juice'. It wasn't particularly pleasant but we ate it anyway.

In the afternoon we decided to go on another 'free' walking tour of the city. I found the one in Berlin a great introduction to the city and helpful as a starting point to figure out what else (if anything) I wanted to see in the city. We grabbed some cheap falafel pitas for lunch on our way to join the tour.

Our tour guide David, was a young ...
