We decided after going back and forth a few times that it was best to not take the night train to Bled but instead to stay the night in Bratislava and leave for Bled in the morning. I'm so happy we chose to do this because Bratislava is a really cute city, especially old town. Chris booked us at a hotel in old town and it might as well have been the Ritz! ... the number of buildings Bratislava has. By the end of my time in Bratislava, I started to gain an appreciation for the city. Its definitely not everyone's cup of tea because it does seem very drab and soviet in nature, but I find such characteristics of a city rare in many cities around the world and this is just Bratislava's personality.

Later that night, it was time to travel by night train to Krakow in Poland, and THAT experience will be described more in the next post.
