... learned our number vocab well had we? Wendy rose to the challenge and although his English was fine he gave us a refresher. W loves that sort of thing. Must be her TESOL background. The two cans of Coke cost us 20 Pesos or $1.60 for two! We also bought postcards but finding the post office was most unsuccessful as we tried our very limited skills with a non English speaker. ... The resort itself is quite pleasant and really enjoyed the sunsets. Also recommend trying the Fish and Ceviche at La Genuina. The restaurant is out of the way but the textures and flavors were really amazing. The restaurant itself was situated in a warehouse type building with local bands and music. Someone quoted that this looks like a Salma Hayek ...

... In Mexico, they have shops called Oxxo’s (basically the same as Tesco Expresses or 7-11’s). In Acapulco, they officially have the most in the country per area – having over 200. So basically I went on a bit of an Oxxo Bar Crawl along the Malecon, as I walked the entire 12km drinking bottles of Indio and Corona. By the time I’d reached the end, probably will have had about 7, but still didn’t know what the plan was for later, so made my way to a place ...
