We had a 5 hr wait in Acapulco for our overnight bus to Puerto Escondido. Both keen to see the famous cliff divers and not too sure how it would happen. But a lovely little mexican taxi driver Orlando took us under his wing and chauffeured us around for 4 hrs all for $20. off on a boat cruise, with an open bar tonight, followed by watchin some mad pricks jump off cliffs into 6m of water, then back to an open bar for more partytime.

then the admiral went to hat making class as tonight is the "Ascot Ball" with a ladies hat contest (pics included)..
An excellent supper (a few pics)..follwed by the Ascot Ball...we survived the dancing by staying out of the way of folks who can really dance...LOL..
then there was the hat parade and judging..(admiral didn't win)..but there's another before we're done so will be picking up some "decoration stuff" in SF...and then WIN..
... lulling me to sleep...NO! I'm on watch! I'm not really tired, but the situation is very peaceful. Back to reading for me.
Another amazing ride in...we finally arrived in Acapulco! Matthew and George were waiting for us, rounding out our crew at five. It's pretty hot and humid here, no surprise. First we anchored, now we are in a slip at the marina. Looks like some decent amenities.
