... I leap out my bed do a 360 degree turn and hop back onto my bottom bunk. Jamie looks on and asks what I am doing on Facebook at 4am!! I blurt out that Pete is coming and they carry on packing!! I message Pete and then head outside for a cigarette with Jamie to calm myself down before hopping back on the computer and talking to Pete over FB chat for 3 hours!! Wow this is up there with the best days of my life!!

I am awake till 7am when suddenly the tiredness catches up ...

its nearly 10 oclock and we are nicely settled into our friends,les and jackys house.Have had a lovely homemade meal and hoping the weather is a bit better tomorrow! The flight was rather bumpy but Ian coped very well. Hoping to get the promised photos loaded up soon. What are Katy and Sam up to-presume ok??

Nach beinahe 2 Monaten in Down Under war nun die Zeit gekommen um unseren dritten Kontinent, Asien, zu erkunden. Die Vorfreude war jedoch auch mit ein wenig Gruebeln verbunden, denn mit jedem Tag in Suedostasien wuerden wir dem Ende unsere Reise naeher kommen........
Aber noch ist es ja nicht so weit!!!!

... bloody last bit of it!! The weather reports for the US show a great start - mid-20's in LA and Vegas. It seems very surreal that by Friday we will be in places that we have only seen on TV. Jase's first big hurdle will be to deal with no WORK - meanwhile I will be gearing myself up for the longest plane trip ever! There are lots of last minute bits and pieces to be done, but I'm sure once Wednesday comes it will be all systems go. The countdown is on!

Nachdem wir unsere Karre "sauber gepuetzt und dargetan" abgegeben hatten, verbrachten wir die naechsten drei Tage in Fremantle. Fremantle ist ein Vorort suedlich von Perth, mit sehr vielen Cafes, Pubs, Restaurants, Laeden und ein paar, fuer australische Verhaeltnisse, aelteren Gemaeuern. Was sich als sehr praktisch erwies war, dass unser Hotel gleichzeitig ein Pub war, welches auch noch sehr leckeres Essen servierte. Kehrseite der Medallie.... wir ...
