... lights, seriously? Again? Grrrrrr police! To cut a long story short, also my Spanish isn't good enough to decipher exactly what was said, the guy said I ran a red stop light. It was actually Amber and flashing when I crossed so after our last experience with the police Kike protested. Next thing I know the guy gets the rule book out stating that I should have stopped in the middle of the junction when it went red which meant I would have been blocking the traffic ...
... off the tourist map. It's still got a pretty bad rap for violence, but we'd also heard if you stay in the touristy spots it's safe as pie and we had some time before we flew out of Mexico so we decided we would give it a whirl! Now, it's an over-priced, played-out scene, that ...
Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.
