    Tuesday 23 June
    We wanted to take advantage of the wind so left Motril fairly early in the morning. The
    wind was quite strong – at times blowing F6 but at least on the bum. Got some pretty good sailing and surfing in at times as the swell picked up to around 1.5m.

    You probably wouldn't go to Crevillent just to visit the town, its away from the coast so less busy, is a centre for carpet manufacture, is not too far from a good climbing crag, but does have a very good campsite and you can use the large swimming pool that is part of the hotel.
