We ended up with a delicious meal of seared fois gras on a cloud of pear puree and drizzled with carmel, mixed salad with nuts and duck, very thinly sliced eggplant dusted with flour and almonds, fried, then drizzled with honey and balsamic.     ... the beach, couple of beers to end an odd day, then picked a restaurant, oh god it’s British, how do we pick them?? Nobody eats before 8pm I guess that’s why we’ve ended up here, we just can’t wait that long.     Orihuela Shopping!

    After our plans at the safari went down the drain we decided to go and check out the new 3 year old Shopping center in Orihuela.

    It was Massive! Its a shame a lot of it was the same as what we have back here in Nottingham and derby West field but it was still a really good day trip out, We had lunch at Tommy Mels Diner which was a really well done 50's style diner the interior was beautiful ...
