      ... incredibly steep and winding road to gain the full height of the town of Siurana at the very top of the Prades Mountains.  This small village called Xibrana during the Moorish times was their last stand before finally falling to the Christians in 1153.  The views here are spectacular and look out across the Embalse River, the surrounding valley and the Siurana Resevoir.  We stopped for a quick walk.       Today, I've picked up my car at Hertz in L'illa shopping area. There are only one person at the booth and there were 3 people in front of me. Took him about 45 minutes to handle all of them, I'm glad I had my phone with me to kill time. I was quite nervous for this day, since I've reserved a manual car ( For those who doesn't know, it is majority manual cars in Europe, I think 90%+).

      ... after the 6pm mass in the "new" cathedral ( built 1761-1781!), a procession is held and the people mess up all the lovely displays made along the pathway before Sunday morning. The pathway murals were made from coloured wood shavings, flowers and flour for the white sections. It is for Pentecost Sunday.
