    ... walked back up the hill, I got my first look at THE stairs, which were in fact a few steps built into a corner of the steep hill. You could clearly see where the van had chipped off the corner of the top step's tile. It became known as "Allen's Step." I then walked back down to the van and took a closer look at the van.     ... got us back on the proprty search. In town we spotted two other properties so went off to find the local agent. He spoke no English so the next hour or so were interesting. I'd asked about one place but he got the keys for another on the same street. One was very old and a big project. The second was fully renovated and very nice but too expensive. Then he showed a third, a new build flat. The search will continue....
