... It was Adam’s birthday in Spain so we bought a huge Spanish flag and all signed it for him but now it’s perfect because our friends come watch our games and have a big flag for us. The teams are of three and the court is tiny with hard floors and we use lawn chairs as goals. The first game I fell on a goal and I have a sick bruise on my arm now. I also got head butted the first game against Portugal (accidentally of course) and my nose may or may not be broke. ...

... population is app. 4000 in a city of 1.6 million. Coincidentally, we visited El Call on August 5, 2014 - 623 years to the day since the pogrom. At about 4:30 we took a bus to Montjuic Hill to the best views of the city. It's also the site of the 1992 Olympics and the Joan Miro Museum which is housed in a modern building with the city below as backdrop to the outdoor sculpture garden. Miro was a classically trained artist who started his career painting portraits. His ...

So what I did was book it again for this Sunday and I'll try to get in touch with them later for a refund. I could have not noticed the mistake which would have caused a few problems at the airport, so I figure I got lucky.
Had to go out to have lunch so I took the #55 bus into the city so I could find out where to pick ...

... The first Tapas bar we went to was really good, the food was different and the cider was also very interesting. The bar tender poured the cider from a bottle which he rested on his forehead as he poured, a little weird! In hindsight the only problem with the tour was that we paid $15 for the tour went to 3 places but only one of the places was included. The other two were really cheap anyway so wasn't a huge problem, we all didn't eat enough though so once we got to the ...

... and Catalunya there is a lovely plaza called Plaša de San Jaume. Here, a huge crowd gathers to watch the Castellers build themselves up into a tower. If you are lucky (or unlucky) enough to be quite close to the "building sight" you can be part of the base of the tower. The crowd forms a base and the Castellers climb up and over them. Each Casteller then climbs on top of another until a few thin women and small children get way up to the top. The ...
