Days 13, 14, 15 and 16
... hiked 149 After an horrendous nights sleep we left town at 8am for our days hike through parkland type terrain and were overjoyed when we arrived at our next nights accommodation. Of course, emotions running high and being overly stressed about the situation, I broke out in tears (for the fourth time) as I was trying to communicate with these people who only spoke Spanish. Thank the universe I am competent enough with my Spanish to get my point across – language barriers have made this all so much more complicated. Eventually one of the guys called one ...
