Trains from 9am-5pm to get to the other side of Germany. Loooong trip via Frankfurt and Cologne, but it was very interesting to see the countryside. It was Beautiful through the Rhine Valley. Phew, what a day. After overnight rain the temperature in Berlin was a lot cooler than yesterday. That said it was still in low 20s so very pleasant.

Samson and I picked up the car and managed to navigate our way back to the hotel to pick up G&G. We then headed south towards Colditz Castle. The plan was to save time tomorrow and visit Colditz today. Despite getting a reasonable size car we just managed to squeeze all the bags into the boot. we left the hotel by about 11.30am ...

I will begin this entry by indicating that I stated last week that I was unable to take pictures inside the Russian Orthodox Church. After the post, I remembered that I had purchased a packet of photos, so I took pictures of them and some appear in this week's posting.
