    ... topped by a couple of statues. The structure had four fonts, and the water was 43 degrees C. It was hot!

    As was the case last time, I had to wash thoroughly before entering the water - again in the nude but I will spare you any more details. The Onsen is set up with mirrors at each individual sink, which has its own hand-held shower. The stools are about 4 inches from the floor, which makes sitting gracefully a bit of a challenge (for me anyway).

    ... he retired and commissioned the building of Bansuisou, incorporating many of the French architectural features that he admired. Inside the building is also very western in style, with large windows, the curtain rails were made in Italy, the mirrors were made in Belgium, and the wood used was teak from the south seas.
