    Arriving in Matsuyama, the tram to our hotel was full to bursting – mostly we think of tourists (it was midday on a Tuesday after all) heading to one of Matsuyama's most famous sights – Dogo Onsen, which we would visit later.

    ... Then we had a further walk around chatting to Ben, who was English and working in Japan for six months. As we went to head our separate ways, we discovered we were staying in the same accommodation so it was not "Goodbye" but "See you later"! On the cycle I spotted a big random dinosaur statue!     ... The Dogo Onsen Honkan has two types of baths (each has one for men and one for women). One is called Kami-no-Yu (water of the Gods) which is the spacious public bath, and the second one is Tama-noyu (water of the spirits) which is more private and a higher grade bath.
