Sidi ifni

<br>

I love Sidi Ifni III

The night I went fishing with Hader and Ibrahim was one of the most beautiful experienses of my life.  They waited for me at a shallow cave a few yards above the dark beach, where Ibrahim cooked us a lovely lamb tajine. When they went fishing I stayed in the cave and meditated for a while. Afterwards I laid on the beach and looked at the most amazing display of stars I've ever seen and for ...

I love Sidi Ifni II

Today I woke up wondering if it was time to move on. The last few days in Sidi Ifni were so extraordinary I doubted I could have even more incredible experiences here. So I decided to take a last walk on the beach before packing and moving on to Fez. On the beautiful, almost completely deserted beach I walked slowly and followed my breath and a smile appeared on my face. There were a few locals and a couple tourists peppered along the vast beach. The scenery here is ...

... eatery in the market. I have also eaten here at a beautiful little restaurant where the owner was also the server and the cook and everything else. It was abundantly clear that he is passionate about cooking. His salad was the most amazing original masterpiece, made with fresh and lightly marinated ingredients, seasoned to perfection. It is truly a lovely culinary experience here in Sidi Ifni. Even the bread from the street vendors is always warm and fresh. There is such a vast contact ...

Sidi Ifni

... Ifni instead, a beach town in Southern Morocco that used to be part of Spain untill 1969. This time I shared the front seat with a very energetic and very old man, dressed in a traditional bright blue jelaba and a black head scarf. I was wondering why I found it enjoyable to cozy up with this grandpa, who at times used the upper lip of my pelvis as an arm rest, placed his palm on my ...

More beaches where we spent the rest of our time

Got an awesome villa for cheap cheap and had a nice time relaxing in the sand. The food sucked in this town however. During this time we took some side trips to neighboring beaches and cities such as Sidi Ifni. Real tight. Spring break 08! WOO! We made it!

... veiled but for their eyes walk alongside more fashion conscious youth in Puma knock-offs and brand name jackets. There are the usual snake charmers in the main plaza, a bit soggy but still attracting a crowd, and the food vendors selling the most delicious fresh orange juice. The winding streets are mysterious and endless and everyone wants to be your friend. Or at least take you to ...
