    ... Aberdeen and came across a community garden block. Terrence Windle, next project for you and photo attached. This block would have been a couple of acres and so many individual garden plots, some nicely tended to and some not so!!

    Had the first NZ phone call at 4.30am this morning, thanks Sandy!!

    ... place was a dive! Only time I havent checked trip advisor and there were no good comments! Cancelled that room and now got a bed that we can sleep in and friendly staff!!

    Not such a good day today! lol Planning our accom for Inverness tomorrow and tha't's proving to be difficult as well. Note to oneself - do not travel in summer school holidays wth no bookings ...

    ... are a few seals. Don't understand me wrong: we're very happy to see them but it looks like our otter-spotting-mission is harder than expected. What we did get to see and feel plenty are midges though. Up to our arrival at the hut I'd only heard about them but as soon as you got out of the car, they were swarming around you. Now I understand hats with nets to cover your face... But too late for us to get those... We're under siege! After ...

    People say time passes quickly when you're having fun.

    I agree.

    After 6 months living with one of the best friends will ever have, I am on my final night before moving on.

    And it hurts.

    Not because I don't want to travel, but more because this is actually THE hardest goodbye I have had so far.

    I didn't think Christmas was going to be a huge occasion this year. I live half way around the world, and I have only been in Aberdeen for a couple months so I didn't expect presents at all!

    Then our house hold did our present giving night (we did a 2.50 pound challenge), where I gave my housemate a handmade bowtie (Doctor Who reference) and his girlfriend a draft copy of the book I am writing.
