      It was time to start the journey home so we headed across to the airport and checked in before heading to the virgin lounge. We grabbed some dinner and drinks, wrote up the blog and soon enough it was time to board. With the mixture of eating, film watching and sleeping, the 13 hours passed quick enough and we were soon landing in LHR.

      ... was quite turbulent but I managed to get a fair amount of z's,. Ryan, not so much!       ... just as well our Spanish classes are at an early stage as we do not understand what the Spanish woman says about Kathleen to her friend.

      Its a long 13 hour flight and the last thing you need after that is Terminal 5. Ponce again we get lost and end up out in the domestic terminal.

      When we get back to Aberdeen it is cold and there is a light dusting of snow which makes having been away for three weeks feel all the better.

      ... of my staff members, I have actually done café and coffee work before. So when rush hour came the other day, and I was making tea (y'know...teabag...water) he came to me and said "you have taken to this like a duck..." Of course...the end of the saying is 'to water'. But did he remember that? No. So what did he say instead? "You have taken to this like a duck...takes to whatever a duck does in the end of that saying"
