Tonight we will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with dinner and drinks in the local pub. A shout out to all our friends and family, we love you. And a special thanks to our friend Sandy Wacha who introduced us 32 years ago. This was an off-road day except for the little we had to do around the town of Alford. It was a great day walking and visiting a fascinating transportation museum. A good part the day ...

Gary goes off to explore the old course and I just wander. Its all very impressive, I head to the beach ...

Left our cute little stone cottage this morning and took the M6 north. We stopped just past Gretna Green for coffee and Lemon Drizzle Slice. We skirted Glasgow and headed off to Stirling to the Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre. It was all very high tech, with 3D re-enactments etc. Interesting, but not quite my cup of tea. I think Terry enjoyed it. It is the 700th anniversary of this important battle ...

... group the other night. An all male vocal group...but it was great fun! It was so good to be back in with people who sing harmonies on purpose and not just because they can't sing.

Thirdly, as I ripped my pants the other week at work, and needed new ones...I went for a hunt after work one day. I went into a shop called Next and found some that were good everywhere except length...what a shock.
    Then I ...
