We get up, have another delicious brekkie at the b&b and then head out through the country lanes. We see a sign from the road to a saxon cathedral and earthworks – so we go and take a look – it turns out to be ruins of North Elmham Chapel and there are a few picture boards dotted around describing the history of it.
After this we end up in Holt where we stop for tea and cake (this is becoming a bit of a ...
The B&B we are staying in is a small place, it has four rooms – two of which we are occupying. We go down to breakfast this morning and meet the other residents – a husband and wife with their mum. We order what we want for breakfast and it is freshly cooked for us, while we wait we chat to the other guests. Afterwards we head for the nearby village of Castle Acre, where we visit the old priory, which is now a ruin and in the hands of English Heritage. We pick ...
Titchwell, England, United Kingdom travelmonster... lucky gals) but to be honest we are talking about his live shows. I remember ole Doddy on TV with the diddy men and his little fluffy stick thing and being one to want to see for myself I booked tickets and eagerly awaited the night.
And today on Thursday 25th August 2009 it is here.

Skegness, England, United Kingdom madcaravannerThe basic criteria for a blog entry from my angle will be loosely dubbed an escape route from home, which involves at least an overnight stay in some shape or form, thus allowing a 2-night camping trip to a British seaside town to nestle alongside higher-budget and further-flung trips. With my trusty piece of canvas barely having been put to any use beforehand, pitching a tent at a campsite at the town of Burgh-Le-Marsh, on the ...
Skegness, England, United Kingdom jollyjetsetter... in the Jag and me on my bike. We found the shipping company that would be handling the bikes without any problem, however they didn’t have any waybills or any knowledge of the bikes being shipped out. The guys there were very helpful in contacting the right people to get the information and confirmation that they needed and sort everything out for the shipment. My bike was checked out pretty quickly and I was relieved when they told me a ...
King's Lynn, England, United Kingdom kochwebb... can get anything to eat, providing its deep fried with chips. Lucky my cousin saved us from cholesterol overload by providing us with delicious meals. I visited my old home and was shown the actual room I was born in.
We then caught the train to York where we are staying for the next four days. "ee, ain't it grand"
... back yard of the venue having a beer and smoking. And Magnus still a bit hyped after the gig, I guess. We agreed upon that a person has to do their own thing and trust that it is good – you are the only one who do it that way. Trying to copy someone else makes only bad imitators. I had the same insecurity for a long long time whih prohibited me from doing the thing I love the most: The selfdoubt that will I ever be a real photographer – whatever that means… I had set up ...
Boston, England, United Kingdom phoinix... t even stop to take a picture! We kept driving up towards Hunstanton and watched the windsurfers & surfers from the cliffs in the awful weather. Drove back to see if we could find a camp ground….the first one wanted £30per night, thought that was a bit steep! So kept driving on. Finally found a little camping ground near the sear in Snettisham which was much cheaper- £12per ...
Snettisham, England, United Kingdom nomads06... to dawn on me what I had let myself in for. Looking back on it now it is hard to imagine how I felt, mainly because I now know what I have encountered over the last year, but before I left I was stepping into the complete unknown... anything could happen!
Anyway, to try and counterbalance the feelings of anxiety I got really really drunk and ended up puking in my tent (which I was sharing with my unfortunate friend Rich).
