... bar. This was definitely on the seedier end of the scale and when we had got our drinks a lovely young lady called Kim approached Mark and asked him to buy her one of the shots she was carrying around. We found out that Kim had recently had a child and she seemed very interested in Mark, which was hilarious for me, especially when he bought her drinks and I refused to. Once she had disappeared briefly we managed to sneak away and back to the hotel to get some ...

I'm not going to judge Brunei properly until tomorrow - Gemma is apparently less than impressed early ...

Le plus haut édifice n'a pas plus de 17 étages et il y en a un seul. Aucune vie de nuit; à vingt heures plus personne dans les rues. Il n'y a pas de touristes...les quelques rares qui s'y aventurent visitent la Mosquée ...

    Brunei and Labuan Island

The next flight to Brunei was 2.5hrs and uneventful. Which is always a good thing. Changed $50aud at the airport, should have changed a hundy. We were going to catch the bus to the ferry terminal but that proved problematic so we caught a taxi. That was most of the fifty gone and we still had to buy the ferry tickets for $15.00 each. ...
