        ... we had to be up to begin our trek to the summit. Then tent was surprisingly warm and cosy, and we both even had to remove layers as we were too warm!

        ... the sun was hot; I could feel my skin burning, even though I’d put cream on. It was time to rinse off the excess sand and move along swiftly. Time for actual lunch.

        ... a bath and a KITCHEN! We were well chuffed! We set off to hit all the shops we'd seen on the way in, dangerous! Luckily we behaved and just treated ourselves to some havaianas (flip flops) as our other ones that had been worn day in day out for well over two months were literally at the end of their tether.
