      Cardenuela Riopico to Burgos - 13.6 kms What a wonderful night on our own - no one snoring! Slept till at least 6.45 - heaven. Up and packed, headed down for breakfast and paid using credit card thank goodness. Lovely couple owned the place - she spoke NO English and he tried very ***********verse with us as best we all could.       ... earlier we had a drink at the bar whilst waiting for the hotel to open. In his book, John Brierley says that Castrojeriz seems to be on a permanent siesta...well I have to agree with him!       ... leg. She battled heaps today but we checked into a hotel and got a 3 bed room complete with a bath so I know she was going to soak. Oh my gosh we are all looking Forward to sleeping in sheets and not unpacking and re packing sleeping bags and paraphernalia tonight!       ... into central Burgos, along what felt like a never-ending road of apartment blocks. The old city was lovely once we hit it, and despite being siesta time, it was still busy and full of people.
