        In the afternoon I headed for the Museum of Human Evolution. I am no science buff and I never retain important facts but this was a really good museum. The lowest floor is dedicated to the discovery of early human remains in Atapuerca (think back to my last town).         ... was not all that spectacular and rather monotonous. The rising sun had oppressed the cool morning air and turned it hot. There was little shade. When we finally reached Burgos, the cottonwood trees were filling the air with tiny puffs of cotton and the weeds and grass along the path held it captive giving the appearance of light fluffy snow.
