... The Way', incidentally last year not knowing all that much about the Camino and now we were seeing it go past our hostel and from our little cafe was awesome. It did get us a little excited and thought how great it would be to do it one day. All of that Spanish food, wine and scenery through the cute little villages and countryside sounds amazing. Think the Camino will have to be on the bucket list for the next trip. Another visit back to Burgos will be there ...

... It doesn't hurt that the bunks at the alburgue each have a dedicated outlet, so I'm not fighting with other peregrinos for one or two outlets in the entire place.

I did some laundry last night, in the washer and dryer. It's incredible what we take for granted in our regular lives...clean clothes are an incredible, blessed thing. I also went to a wonderful little restaurant and had spaghetti (with churizo), a completely ...

For those of you who are following our progress on the map, you will notice a big jump today. No, we did not walk the 50km into Burgos. Given that Tammy's feet are still healing and the last stretch of the Camino into Burgos is a dangerous one on hard asphalt along a busy highway we decided to jump ahead 2 days by taking the bus. The very fact I feel that I have to justify our decision to you still means there is some pride left in me. When all is said and done, ...
