    ... to the Vecchio Castle across the river and guess it was to house the military as one building was definitely stables. Crossed back over the river to the old side and found a cafe for lunch. Had to wait till 1.30pm for the castle museum to open so wandered around the grounds. Castle is surrounded by a moat and entry is via a drawbridge.
