... time we got there for our hike. It was quite beautiful and the waves made it look like a coastal area rather than just a bay within a lake. There were quite a few warnings not to jump into the water because of the cold temperature.

... sun set over dinner and chatted the whole time catching up on news. Chris is now a qualified paramedic but looking for more shifts. Hopefully we will cross tracks again in the future.
Said our goodbyes at 8:30 pm and made our way to Dundalk, again having to use the GPS and our wits because of the expressway closure,only made one wrong turn, but was able to follow other cars most of the way so it wasn't too hard.

... lines to contend with but traffic was light and I could at least drive slowly and absorb the splendour. It truly is awesome, mile after mile.

It was meant to be a short day but by the time we stopped for photos plus this and that and something else it was nearly 4:30 before we got to a campsite for the night. Found a nice spot on Lake Couchiching which is separated from Lake Simcoe by a narrow neck of land.
