... We came at the lake at about 3 o'clock . . . went north through Ollila . . . and ended up about 9 o'clock at our destination city, Barrie. On the way, we spotted a billboard for "The Welder's Wife Cottage and General Store" but in the rain, we didn't get details on the location and never did come to it! There is a skinny website that is not very current because she posts most of her stuff on Facebook. Anyway, it was an intriguing ...

... ok for another day.
We motored until about 3:00ish, and then Marcos was getting squirrelly; Lucas had fallen asleep. We saw a very cool little bay on the map, Frying Pan Bay. It was a small little bay, narrow entrance, and some low areas. But the middle looked good and we thought we could make it. We did, without incident, and anchored successfully. In fact, both boys are sound asleep, and it is 8:30! Earliest they've both gotten to sleep so far this trip. I think James and I will get some canasta in. I got ...

After a nice morning at our anchorage by Discovery Bay, we started heading north. We even got the sail up and had lovely sail. At about 2:00, we came to Beausoliel Island, which is a national park. We quickly went ashore, as there were little islands of rock to explore. Unfortunately, James had snorkelled down to check the anchor, and felt a sharp pain in his ear! ...

Made it!

... we unpacked what we could (not too much with the mast down!), got the boys some French fries, did some running around to get some needed parts, etc. James had some friends at a a nearby marina, so we looked for them, too. They weren't there, but showed up at the boat shortly after. The winds were still high, so we decided to wait until the morning to try getting the sail up. However, later that evening, Giselle and Jeff came back, to see if we wanted to ...
