... so far as it is right on the river (the name gives that away) and has some very fine rooms. However, we did our best to make the hotel room look like a Chinese laundry as we needed a few fresh clothes. Tara spends 6 months in each country and actually landed at Heathrow only 5 days before us. She was effectively camping out herself in her house in St Neots, having acquired it back from her tenant so that she could do it up. Consequently it ...

... days in St Neots we traveled by train to the sunny north, where it actually was sunny! Enough about the English weather though... It is very nice to see the family again! Life up north is hard work.. lots of gardening and hard labour. But as reward we receive beers, port, wine, cheese and other great foods. Tough life ;-)

Tomorrow there is a great day of shopping ahead! Manchester here we come! (Poor Dannyboy..) Can't buy so much though.. our backpacks ...
