... and played games, then drove to the playground. Alice and Tom were oblivious to the icy wind but eventually we managed to drag them away! It was wonderful to catch up and see them looking so well and happy.
Later in the day we took the girls to see Pat and Ernie (Simon's parents) in Worksop and Alice scored another ice cream when the van just happened to stop outside their house.

Up early having trouble sleeping but after another English breakfast buffet we drove into Barnsley City Centre and found a Market of over 203 stalls in progress but the weather has changed raining and very cold so we opted to walk around the city centre for a while. We woke reasonably early again today after we both slept like logs, we definitely needed a good nights sleep. We are slowly adjusting to the changes of a UK lifestyle and way of living but it is still going to take some time, especially getting settled into our new home for the next 6 months. Nikko picked us up and we went down to the cricket club so I could have a net session before our friendly game tomorrow.
