After about a six or seven hour bus ride Stephen and I finally arrive in a small coastal town of Bundoran. When we were planning to go to Ireland Stephen told our group that he has a family friend who lives out in Bundoran getting her certification as a surf instructor. She was also able to cut us a deal and get the hostel and private surf lesson all in one. It's definitely starting to pay off having connections all around Ireland.

We join a local expert to see Derry's Walls and the Guildhall and the city's Cathedral. Cross the border to see O'Donnells Castle in Donegal. Drive south to visit capital Belleek Pottery centre. ... but was fine once I got used to it. The seaweed also gives the water a silky, kind of oil constancy. Rubbing it on myself felt like being rubbed with the finest bath oils. I left the Bath feeling like I was walking on air, and my skin felt amazing for days afterwards. If I lived there, you'd never get me out of the place.

From the bath was a rather boring drive through to Westport. I got in fairly late, but it was worth it for such an interesting, and totally unplanned, day.
