Later, we had a great Swedish meal at a place near our house, the Blue Door. We ordered an appetizer of 4 types of pickled Herring and a dish of Reindeer meatballs. The Herring was amazing. It melted in our mouths like butter. I’ve never had anything like it. I would compare it to sushi quality fish, but pickled and spiced. My favorite was the one with a mustard sauce. We went on a bus tour to Lubeck which is an Unesco World Heritage site. It is famous for its brick gothic architecture.. The streets are very narrow and winding. All are cobblestones.
