    ... water to another town / village, La Cluse on the opposite side. The water is very clean and clear. A speedboat with water-skier in tow travelled up and down,.. and two old codgers sat quietly with fishing lines in the water,.. just to complete the picture. Cocktail hour happened in front of the van,.. looking out on to the lake. Friday was our 'domestics' day. Washing and cleaning kept us busy till noon.     ... is going to be a big struggle. I am not looking forward to it at all. They better fix the coffee machine by tomorrow or I'm going to have to start yelling and no one wants that.

    Well now that it's after noon, I have decided that I'm not going to take that translation class anymore. It's like impossible and I don't need that kind of stress in my life. Besides, I already have enough credits and I don't need to put that kind of stress ...

    ... the rest of the people. It was annoying and quite rude. It wasn't even like real food, it was appetizers and soda. I ate bread and carrots because I wasn't really sure what was in everything else. We left early and went to a bar called "Les Artistes." I had a sangria. It was really sweet and probably a bad idea. It tasted good though. I left early because I needed to get some sleep. Hopefully I will feel better ...

    ... all the wood was a concern, as was the way the cheese maker (blessed be them!) used his teeth to hold the linen to draw the cheese bits (technical eh!) from the whey. Nice ... An interesting process, as was the whey, which was offered, and taken. Well a tiny mouthful ...
