    ... mountains and then plunged into an incredibly deep gorge with cliffs rising up on both sides, there were plenty of tunnels and every time you emerged the view was different. Then suddenly there was a lake and right beside it my next site which I was really looking forward to visiting because it's restaurant had a good reputation.

    When I checked in, the receptionist noted that my motorhome wasn't very large which rather surprised me because it feels big ...

    ... all sorted so we could shower. Very important! !
    In cafe now trying 2.50 pint for research purposes.
    The frontier with Spain is just at edge of Andorra la vella and its a long way to Spanish coast up and down many mountains. You would want good brakes and not be scared of sheer drops at edge of road.
    It must be beautiful during skiing season but I would recommend it in Summer too they have a lot of building crammed into gaps between the hills. ...

    ... pass and then a closed road and then to another un-passable pass. Eventually we got to the B&B and were shown to our attic room with mountain views. The hostess advised if I stood on the bed and looked out the skylight I could see the mountains! Next thing was that in only about one third of the room was it possible to stand upright. Pat and I both hit the ceiling a few times. For other reasons as well this had one the title of worst accommodation ...

    ... need to re-plaster. One of the rooms is to be painted with designs/frescoes in the style of the 17th/18th century by the Toulouse School of Fine art so that one needs to be plastered first so that it has time to dry out before they come. They then have to install under floor heating, choose & lay tiles, paint, install cooking equipment, sort out the lighting, buy furniture and hopefully open the café in July.
