... of the dunes, and then went for a closer look. Most people had now left the stand so you could get right to the bottom and close to the ones taking a breather. And again they were so cute and tiny. Ideal size for a pet! In the dunes all the chicks were chirping their heads off trying to get fed, and the poor penguins were streaming up into the dunes, desperately trying to find the right burrow.
But it was absolutely awesome, a totally great experience (despite being not allowed ...

Earlier that day we went to the Koala Conservation Centre, and got to see koala bears up close and personal. This was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It's basically a fenced off section of forest with raised platforms and walkways (not unlike the Ewok Village from The Empire Strikes Back), where visitors can walk among the trees and almost touch those cute wee ******.
... again, because it's so hot in darwin at the moment we're looking into spending a month in New Zealand (its about the same size as the UK - didnt know that!!). Our friends want to apply for a years visa in NZ but both me and kim dont think we could be away from home for that amount of time, plus we found out at a push u could travel the lot in 2 weeks so thought if we spend two weeks maybe 3 on both northa nd south island we'd be able to see it all. Also by going to see it for ...
phillip island, Victoria, Australia thai_ler26th December - Boxing day Today Billy and Aunty Liz went to see their friends, we were invited too but we said we wouldn't go as we thought they'd wan2 celebrate with their friends plus we didn't want to cramp their style. Also we cancelled on our friends yesterday (Might sound bad but I didnt want to see them on christmas cause I've always been with family on that day!). While we waited for our friends to get back to us we ...

Friday 24 th October ARB although expensive had told us about a 4wd show at the Melbourne exhibition centre where we might get some show bargains so we headed off intending to spend a couple of hours there. 5 hours later we emerged with: 12v tyre inflator and repair kit for tubeless tyres, fishing rod and reel, a persona EPIRB (Emergency ...
Dromana, Victoria, Australia therhodesies... own remotes and it was movie on demand! That means that I could choose to watch Juno at 7:00pm and pause it at 7:15pm, then someone else could start watching it at 7:10pm and watch threw to 8:00pm before getting board and changing movies. If that explanation makes no sense to you, look up Singapore airlines on Google. That's what is there fore anyway! I slept a little bit at the start of the flight (1 hour max.), then I watched First Kiss, A ...
Beijing, China lozzafisher"You can be my wingman anytime" "******** - you can be mine" Top Gun I've just been re-reading the entry I posted earlier. It's a regular thing I do - I don't notice typos as I'm writing so I need to give it a few hours. I think there's a reason for this, which has something to do with rereading something you've only just written being replaced in your mind by the version that was in your head at the time. But that really isn't the point. The point is, I noticed that it was ...
Melbourne, Australia foolsgold"Where are all the good men dead? In the heart, or in the head?" Gross Point Blank "If you can't spot the sucker at the table in thirty seconds flat..... You are the sucker" Rounders Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I won't even start with my usual apology for Travelpod Tardiness - when you start to get e-mails from close friends asking if you're dead, you know a simple 'I'm sorry' probably won't cut it. The truth is, we passed our one year anniversary ...
Melbourne, Australia rickella... cust. Service!! But we were finally on our way out of Melbourne again (and had to buy another Clink toll pass (should have gotten her to pay for it, but was too upset by then)). Anyway. We stopped at the Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens for lunch (and a short walk). We must have just missed the rain. Two people we ran into were drenched, guess we arrived just at the right time. From Cranbourne on to Phillip Island, stopping first at the tourist information where we picked up our ...
